Our Story - Terra World Venture Group
Terra World Venture invested in PT Berkat Cahaya Timber (PT BCT), a pioneering leader in sustainable forestry in Indonesia with over 50 years of history. As part of this transition, Terra World Venture became Terra World Group, under which PT BCT and PT Karya Nusantara Selatan (PT KNS) now operate.
With over five decades of experience, PT BCT has become a major player in the forestry sector, recognized for its commitment to responsible logging and environmental stewardship.
Our operations are centered around a substantial timber concession area of approximately 118,605 hectares in Central Kalimantan, making it one of the largest consolidated forest concessions in Indonesia. To date, we have harvested over 2.2 million cubic meters of logs, valued at more than USD 500 million. Our third-generation ownership continues to uphold our core values of sustainability and ecological balance.
Together, BCT and KNS, under the Terra World Group umbrella, are dedicated to driving sustainable timber practices and promoting environmental preservation. Our integrated approach and extensive experience enable us to lead the industry in sustainable practices and make a positive impact on the communities we serve and the environment we cherish.
We established PT Karya Nusantara Selatan (PT KNS) as a sister company to BCT. KNS specializes in managing the entire timber product lifecycle, including development, processing, trading, and marketing. Our focus is on high-quality, sustainable practices that foster industry growth while maintaining ecological balance. The creation of KNS underscores our commitment to advancing sustainable timber solutions and supporting community well-being.

Our diverse range of wood, such as Bengkirai, Meranti, Keruing, Ulin, Merbau, Amara, and Ebony, meets the high demands of factories, construction companies, architects, and designers in these countries.
